How can I book my student accommodation in Nottingham? VIEW ANSWER

Booking with us is quick and hassle-free using our streamlined system. Booking your accommodation is easy using our simple booking system. Choose the room suitable for you from the list below and then choose your academic year from the options on the next page. This will then take you through to our payments where a deposit can then be made. Once your booking has been processed you will then have 3 calendar days to upload your documentation and sign the agreement.
Can I view the accommodation before making a booking? VIEW ANSWER

Absolutely! We’d be delighted to welcome you and your family to visit our show flat. Click ‘book a viewing’ here to arrange a tour. Although Bridgeside is still under construction, our fully virtual guided tour and coming soon show flat gives you a fantastic preview of what to expect. During your visit, we’ll answer all your questions and guide you through the booking process. Bridgeside will be ready to welcome students in September 2025.
Can I make a group booking? VIEW ANSWER

Yes, if you and your friends would like to live together, contact your residence team or fill out this quick form and we’ll allocate rooms close together (subject to availability).
What if I don’t get my university place? VIEW ANSWER

Don’t worry—we offer a ‘No Place, No Stay’ policy. If your university place falls through, just let us know within 5 days of receiving confirmation from the university, and we’ll review your eligibility for a refund. Evidence will be required.
What if I don’t get my visa? VIEW ANSWER

We also have a ‘No Visa, No Stay’ policy. If your visa is refused, let us know within 5 days of receiving the decision. We’ll need evidence of the refusal to process your cancellation and refund.
Are there any discounts for early bookings? VIEW ANSWER

Prices increase throughout the year, so booking early is the best way to secure a lower rate. Some promotional offers may also apply—keep an eye out!
Are there any hidden fees? VIEW ANSWER

No hidden costs here. Aside from your rent and the £250 deposit, you’ll only pay for any optional extras you choose to add.
Who can act as my guarantor? VIEW ANSWER

Your guarantor must be a UK-based adult over the age of 18, who is financially stable and agrees to take responsibility for your rent if you’re unable to pay. They’ll need to provide proof of ID and income.

If you don’t have a UK-based guarantor, don’t worry—there are now two great options available to help:

Leap: We’re fully integrated with Leap Guarantor, making it easier than ever to get a UK guarantor. Students can apply directly through our booking platform with 24/7 availability, instant decisions, and a fast, digital process. It’s a smooth and seamless option that removes a common hurdle when booking your accommodation.

Housing Hand: We also continue to work closely with Housing Hand, a trusted partner who acts as a guarantor for both UK and international students in exchange for a fee. Additional costs apply—please visit the Housing Hand website for full details.

Is the area safe? VIEW ANSWER

Yes – safety’s a big deal at Bridgeside, and we’ve got you covered. The area around Radmarsh Road has a local crime rate that’s 61% lower than the Nottingham average, and being so close to the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus means there’s always a good amount of foot traffic and a visible campus security presence nearby.
