  • ✈️ Before You Arrive

    A little prep goes a long way.

    1. Book your room early
    International students often make decisions earlier than UK students, so don’t wait around! Once you’ve received your university offer, you can book online via our website. If you’re booking through an agent, make sure they provide you with your LUNA booking confirmation and tenancy agreement.

    2. Check your visa requirements
    Make sure your accommodation and visa timings line up. You’ll likely need proof of address or a tenancy agreement to support your visa – your booking confirmation email will include everything you need.

    3. Get your documents sorted
    We’ll ask you to upload a valid form of ID when you book (usually your passport). You’ll also need to bring a printed copy with you for check-in.

    4. Plan your arrival
    Check your building’s check-in dates before you book your flights. If you’re arriving late at night or a few days early, let your residence team know in advance – we’ll always do our best to help.

  • 🏡 When You Arrive

    Settling in made simple.

    1. Check in with ease
    Our team will be ready to welcome you and help with anything you need on the day. You’ll have already booked your move-in slot online, so we’ll know when to expect you. Look out for our welcome events – they’re a great way to meet other new residents (many of them international students too!).

    2. No need to pack the kitchen sink
    Most of our rooms come fully furnished, with all the basics ready to go. Need bedding, kitchenware or a rice cooker waiting for you when you arrive? We’ve partnered with UniKitOut to make it easy – and you’ll get 10% off with code LUNA10.

    3. Staying connected
    All our buildings have superfast Wi-Fi, so you can keep in touch with home from day one. We also run social events and community meet-ups throughout the year – perfect for making friends and settling into life in the UK.

    Here’s how it works:

    • Paying from overseas? No problem – we accept international bank transfers.

    • Don’t have a UK guarantor? You can still book with us – just choose the ‘no UK gu

    • Need help? Just contact our team – we’re experienced with international bookings and happy to guide you through the process.

  • 📚 Studying in the UK

    Things might feel a little different – and that’s okay.

    • Lectures, seminars and self-study might be structured differently to what you’re used to. Don’t be afraid to ask your tutors or student support services for help – they’re there for a reason.

    • Most universities offer international welcome weeks, language support and cultural societies. Join them! It’s a great way to meet people and settle in.
