  • Check-in
    • Photographic ID – i.e. passport or driving licence.
    • Student ID Number (University ID) – You will likely have received your student ID number within the offer letter from your university. This number is also typically displayed on university correspondence with you regarding your application and enrolment.
    • A copy of your completed LUNA check-in documents – these will have been emailed to you by our property team a few weeks prior to your contract start. Don’t worry if you are unable to locate these documents, just contact our property team ahead of arrival and they will resend the documents to you.
    • Your rent account must be up to date to validate check-in, the quickest way to complete payment is via your online LUNA Students account. International payments and bank transfers can take up 5-10 days to clear in our account, please allow ample time for any funds to clear prior to arriving to your LUNA property. It is always worth reaching out to checking with our Property team that your rent payment has cleared in our account before travelling to the property.

    • Quilt / duvet – all our beds are either a ¾ (small double) or a double. Both types will comfortably fit a double duvet set

    If living in a shared flat you may wish to wait to purchase some items until you arrive, so you can co-ordinate with your flatmates to avoid ending with multiple of the same items.

  • Items that aren’t permitted in LUNA properties
    • Candles & incense
    • E-Scooters
    • Non-UK compliant electricals – all electricals must hold the Kite mark or UK CE mark
    • Electrical appliances with a high wattage (above 200w)
    • Rice cookers – are not suitable for use with UK power outlets and can cause fire risks
