We’re student accommodation experts here at LUNA. Our property teams have years of combined experience delivering top-quality accommodation built with a focus on safety, support and convenience.
We’re not just a roof over your head, we’re a place to call home during your time at university. We welcome people in to join the LUNA family and support and encourage them to reach their full potential.
LUNA started out in 2019 and instantly secured management of 952 beds across the UK. Fast forward to 2023, and as we grow, we felt it was time to refresh our public image and create a brand that was more targeted to our audience, aligning it better to the student experience we offer.
In a unique, and very collaborative step, we invited our current student residents to contribute their thoughts on the new name. After consultation, over 200 students responded, and LUNA stole the vote.
Through extensive research and feedback from our residents, we built LUNA and we are so proud of the new look and are excited to introduce it to the world.
Sustainability
We all have a responsibility to do our bit to protect the planet. We want to leave a positive legacy for our buildings and for the future of our residents and all of our properties are built with this in mind. Our construction methods have been developed to minimise disruption to the environment, and our efforts don’t stop there.
Once you move in, our super-efficient insulated buildings are great at keeping the heat in and the cold out. We also actively encourage sustainable travel options with secure onsite bike storage and electric car-charging points. Reducing waste is a big priority for us – we make it really easy to recycle at all our properties and keep our paper use to a minimum, communicating with our residents online and via email whenever we can.

At LUNA Students, we are committed to reducing carbon and waste on the buildings we operate, and ensure we apply sustainability principles throughout our business activities. We are proud, and delighted to have achieved the highest, 3 Star Fitwel Certification, and a Very Good BREEAM Accreditation, meaning we are one of the healthiest places to live thanks to the way we build and operate our buildings.
